Teavana Perfect TeaMaker Review

Lets first look at what Teavana is saying about their perfect TeaMaker on Teavana.com

Teavana website states:

"Our new and improved tea maker brews the perfect cup every time! It is the most efficient, simple and clean way to steep tea."

Tasteful Tea Review:

How to use:
Simply add tea and water at the correct temperature, then put the tea maker on your favorite mug. The patented drain mechanism will strain the tea into your cup and keep the leaves in the tea maker. I love that part it looks so cool.

Pros:
This product is incredibly easy and fun to use. Not only can you see the magic of the tea being brewed right before your eyes, or smell the wonderful scent that your tea is giving off as your brewing, but you really do not get any leaves inside of your cup once you are done. With the Perfect TeaMaker being made of sturdy polycarbonate that is BPA free. One can relax at not only knowing that you if drop this on the ground it will not break, but you are not getting all of those nasty chemicals leaking into your drink.
It is incredibly easy to clean. Once I am done steeping the Tea (based on the quality of tea you can steep it 2 or three times) I place the leaves in the compost and then rinse the TeaMaker out with hot water. I place It back in the cabinet with the lid open and this works out very well. If you want a better cleaning than you can take the filter out with easy and give it a good scrubbing. then just snap the filter back in place.

Cons:
Because the tea pours directly into the cup from the TeaMaker you cannot see if the cup is about to over flow or not. However, this is easily avoidable. One you can first make sure you have a cup that is larger than 16oz or two you can use a clear cup like Teavana's Perfectea Glass Tea Mug (Pictures on the Right)

Overall Teavana I believe has mad the Perfect TeaMaker and Tasteful Tea strongly recommends this to anyone looking for that perfect cup of tea.

Next week Tasteful Tea explores Tazo® Earl Grey Full Leaf Tea so stay tuned every saturday for new reviews and Tea news.
